Museum
At the end of the shop one can admire a collection of fans, among which a fine one belonging to Louis XIV, the "Sun King", stands out (1638 - 1715).
In the gallery some beautiful mats and lace of different ages, between 1500 and present day are on display, worked with precious yarns going from number 4000 to 40, 40 being the lace yarn used nowadays.
In the first showroom a unique piece is exhibited, the only one in the world, a light and rare wedding dress, all needle-worked in the XVIII century. In a display window you can admire an embroidered bedspread, made by countess Maria Walevska for Napoleon Bonaparte's son. There is also on exhibition, a splendid embroidered handkerchief for Napoleon's coronation; the patient workmanship of its design, five eagles forming the imperial crown, is to be particularly noted.
